I've never found one yet, but I've found lots of other wonderful things while looking.

It's harder than it sounds when the wind is blowing.

The sun comes back out after a really big rainstorm and everything in the forest smells brand new.

Finding something interesting wherever I happen to be.

Sometimes it's a shiny stone. Sometimes it's a funny-shaped cloud. Once it was a beetle who followed me around for almost an entire afternoon.

He said it was a coincidence.

I'm not convinced.

To finally discover where a rainbow ends.

Although... I'm starting to think finding it might not be the most important part.

Being so busy looking for something wonderful in the distance that I miss something wonderful right beside me.

I get distracted.

A lot.

I'll start out looking for lunch and somehow end up following a dragonfly through the woods.

But I've discovered that getting a little lost isn't always such a terrible thing.

Sometimes that's how you find places you never knew existed.

🌈 A Little From My Heart

"I used to think adventures had to lead somewhere.

That's why I started looking for the end of the rainbow. I figured there must be something extraordinary waiting there.

But every time I went searching, something happened.

I'd find a patch of wildflowers I'd never seen before. Or meet a new friend beside the pond. Or discover the perfect place to sit and watch fireflies.

And one day I realized...

Maybe I haven't failed to find the end of the rainbow.

Maybe the rainbow has been showing me all the wonderful things along the way.

So if you're waiting until you reach somewhere special before you enjoy where you are, I hope you'll remember me.

Look around.

There might already be something wonderful right beside you."
