🪽 A Little From My Heart

"I used to wonder if I needed to be louder.

Some frogs can make the whole pond hear them. They tell wonderful stories, make everyone laugh, and always seem to know exactly what to say.

I'm not very good at that.

I like quiet mornings. I like watching sunlight move across the water. I like noticing when the first flower opens or when a dragonfly rests beside me.

For a while, I wondered if that was enough.

Then one morning, someone sat beside me.

They didn't need advice. They didn't need cheering up. They just didn't want to be alone.

So we sat.

We watched the mist disappear from the pond.

We watched a dragonfly land nearby.

And eventually, they smiled.

That's when I learned something.

You don't have to be the brightest light in someone's world.

Sometimes you can simply sit beside them long enough to remind them that the light is still there."
