I don't always have a lot to say, especially when I'm somewhere new. But if you need someone to sit beside you for a while, I'm very good at that.

🌼 A Little From My Heart

"I've never been the loudest one in the meadow.

When everyone starts talking at once, I usually listen.

When someone says, 'Come stand in the middle!' I sometimes feel much happier staying just a little closer to the edge.

For a while, I wondered if that meant there was something I needed to change.

But then I started noticing things.

I noticed the friend who laughed with everyone else but looked sad when nobody was watching.

I noticed the person standing just outside the group, waiting for someone to make room.

I noticed the quiet voices that sometimes disappeared underneath the louder ones.

Maybe I noticed them because I know what it feels like to be quiet too.

So now, when I see someone standing alone, I don't always know the perfect thing to say.

Sometimes I don't say anything at all.

I just move over.

Because I've learned that you don't have to fill every silence.

Sometimes making room beside you is enough to tell someone...

I see you.

You matter.

There's a place for you here.

And if you're quiet like me, I hope you never think you need to become louder before you can make a difference.
